President Bola Tinubu’s administration is establishing the foundation for a more prosperous and sustainable Nigeria, according to Nasir Raji-Mustapha, the Director-General of the National Productivity Centre. In his message for World Productivity Day, Raji-Mustapha encouraged Nigerians to support the administration’s economic policies and emphasized the need for efficiency, creativity, and innovation.
World Productivity Day, observed on June 20th, highlights the importance of improving work and living standards. Raji-Mustapha stressed the role of government and policymakers in fostering a productive environment by supporting businesses, investing in education and skills development, and promoting innovation.
He noted that in today’s fast-changing world, adaptability and innovation are crucial, especially in the face of global challenges. He emphasized that World Productivity Day underscores the importance of resilience, agility, and problem-solving in achieving productivity and sustainability.
Raji-Mustapha highlighted that productivity is about working smarter, not harder, and encouraged individuals and organizations to enhance their efficiency. He called for leveraging technology, fostering creativity, and promoting continuous improvement to drive positive change and community impact.
