Hon. Ghaffar Ajani Ayodeji, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ede has emphasized the importance of peace to sustainable development of Osun and it’s towns.
This was his message while attending the 10th Coronation Anniversary of His Royal Highness Oba Oyedepo Azeez Nureni, the Olu Owode Ede and Fund Raising for the construction of a modern palace.
Hon. Ghaffar in his remarks hailed the royal father for creating a peaceful atmosphere in Owode Ede which has aided development for the town and promoted peaceful coexistence between neighbouring towns.
While hailing noble sons and daughters of the town, Ghaff Unity lauded them for being worthy ambassadors of Ede, promoting it’s cultural heritage and serving as a model of hard work and cultural ambassadors just as they have exhibited the true values and essence of Omoluabi.
The APC chieftain charged all stakeholders present to be partners in the development of Owode Ede, contributing their quota to the towns growth while they must cooperate with the Oba Nureni for the town to attain greater heights.
He emphasized that Owode Ede remains one of the food basket of Osun State, providing economic opportunities and serving as the economic entry port of the state from the West, he therefore tasked stakeholders present to commit their human and financial resources into helping the town achieve it’s full potentials which will in return boost the development of the state and position Owode Ede as the economic hub of Osun.

Closing his remarks, Hon. Ghaffar charged every one present to serve as peace ambassadors stating that peace is a catalyst for desired development.
