Easter: BABS Felicitates Christians, Preaches Unity and Hope

Alhaji Bello Adegboyega Basheer (BABS), the immediate past Managing Director of the Osun Public Procurement Agency and a prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ifelodun, Boripe, and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency, has extended warm Easter greetings to Christians across Osun State and Nigeria at large.

In a message personally signed by him, BABS congratulated the Christian faithful on the successful completion of the Lenten season and the celebration of Easter, describing the period as one of deep reflection, sacrifice, and renewed hope.

He said Easter offers a unique opportunity for all, regardless of religious affiliation, to embrace the values of love, selflessness, and peaceful coexistence, which are at the heart of the teachings of Jesus Christ.

“Easter is a season of renewal, hope, and deep reflection on the values of love, sacrifice, and unity. It reminds us all—regardless of faith—of the power of compassion and the victory of light over darkness,” BABS said.

He urged citizens, particularly in Osun State, to continue working together across party, ethnic, and religious lines to build a more united and progressive society.

“At a time when our nation is navigating various challenges, the Easter message calls us to show kindness, patience, and unity of purpose,” he added.

BABS, a grassroots politician widely respected for his developmental drive and bridge-building efforts in his constituency, reaffirmed his commitment to the growth and peaceful coexistence of all people within the Ifelodun, Boripe, and Odo-Otin axis.

He concluded by wishing Christians a peaceful, joyous, and blessed Easter celebration.
