Osun APC’s Victory: A Call for Good Governance – BABS

A prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, Alhaji Bello Adegboyega Basheer (BABS), has congratulated the reinstated local government chairmen, urging them to seize this opportunity to deliver quality governance that will further strengthen the party’s hold in the state.

BABS, the immediate past Managing Director of the Osun Public Procurement Agency, described the reinstatement as a victory for democracy and a step towards reclaiming Osun from the misrule of the current administration. He emphasized that APC leaders at the grassroots must prioritize the people’s welfare and ensure visible development in their respective councils.

While commending the judiciary for upholding justice, he charged the chairmen to justify their return to office by implementing policies that will uplift the standard of living in their communities.

“As you resume your responsibilities, let your leadership be driven by excellence, accountability, and impactful governance. The people of Osun deserve a system that works for them, and you must prove that APC remains the best choice for the state’s future,” he stated.

BABS extended his congratulations to the leadership of the APC in Osun, using the Honourable Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, as a point of contact to appreciate all party stakeholders. He commended their unwavering dedication to the progress of the party and the state.

He further called for unity among APC members, stressing that the reinstatement of the council chairmen should serve as motivation to work towards reclaiming Osun in 2026.

“This is the time to consolidate our strength and remain focused. Osun people are looking up to APC to bring back the era of progressive governance. Let us all stay committed to this cause,” BABS added.
