As the political atmosphere in Osun State begins to heat up in anticipation of the 2026 gubernatorial election, The Progressive Frontliners (TPF), a grassroots movement within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has intensified its advocacy for equity, justice, and inclusion. At a press briefing marking the New Year, the group passionately rallied for the ‘West Lokan’ agenda—a push to ensure the Osun West Senatorial District is given the chance to produce the next governor.

The TPF, in a message that underscored the principles of fairness and egalitarianism, called on the APC leadership to zone the party’s gubernatorial ticket to Osun West.
