Dangote Hails Nigeria President as Refinery Begins PMS Production

Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Nigeria’s foremost industrialist, expressed deep appreciation to Nigeria President Bola Tinubu as his long-anticipated refinery officially commenced the production of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) for the first time. Describing the moment as a “new dawn for Nigeria,” Dangote praised the President’s unwavering support and visionary leadership, which he believes played a critical role in the successful launch of the refinery.

According to Dangote, this milestone represents a significant leap forward in Nigeria’s journey toward energy self-sufficiency and economic prosperity. The Dangote Refinery, a monumental project long in the making, is expected to drastically reduce the country’s reliance on imported fuel, thereby enhancing national security and economic stability.

In his remarks, Dangote stated, “This is not just a personal achievement; it is a victory for all Nigerians. The commencement of PMS production signals the beginning of a new era—one where Nigeria takes its rightful place as a leader in the global energy sector.”

He further acknowledged the critical role of President Tinubu in creating an enabling environment for the private sector to thrive, expressing optimism that this development would inspire further investments and innovations across various sectors of the economy.
