In a gesture of deep respect and admiration, Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, has celebrated the 74th birthday of former Governor Captain Idris Ichalla Wada, offering warm congratulations and heartfelt prayers.

Governor Ododo, in a message conveyed by his Special Adviser on Media, Ismaila Isah, praised Captain Wada as a visionary leader whose tenure as governor from January 2011 to January 2016 was marked by a steadfast commitment to progress and development in Kogi State.

The Governor lauded Captain Wada’s humility and exceptional leadership, noting that his legacy continues to inspire the younger generation of leaders.

Reflecting on Captain Wada’s enduring influence, Governor Ododo highlighted the invaluable guidance and wise counsel that the former governor still provides. These qualities, he said, not only shaped the state during Captain Wada’s tenure but also continue to serve as a beacon for those who follow in his footsteps.

Governor Ododo’s message was filled with gratitude and well-wishes as he prayed for Captain Wada’s continued good health and longevity.

He expressed hope that the former governor would keep enriching lives and contributing to the growth of the nation, just as he has done throughout his distinguished career.

His career as an accomplished pilot and administrator in the Nigerian aviation industry stands as a testament to his dedication and service to both Kogi State and the nation at large.
