The Kano State Police Command has dispersed a group of youths who attempted to break into a store on Zoo Road in the state capital.
The youths tried to force their way into the two-story building housing Sadaraki Stores, but the police quickly intervened to stop them. However, before the police arrived, the suspects had already damaged the building’s windows.
Currently, there is low participation in the protest against hunger in the ancient city, with many residents staying indoors.
